On the whole, Acne affects teenagers, and folks in their early 20's, and is normally centralized to the face, neck, back and shoulder areas. Typically referred to as zits, pimples, and whiteheads, acne should be treated with proper medication, as scarring is possible if improperly attended to. The good news is, clogged skin pores which produce acne are treatable, and are not life threatening.
